What is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal is a treatment that uses laser light to damage hair follicles, inhibiting future hair growth in treated areas. Patients may require multiple laser hair removal treatments to accomplish optimal results.
During treatment, a beam of highly focuses laser light will be applied to the target area, which the hair follicles will absorb. Patients may experience a slight “snapping” sensation during treatment, which is very brief. Individuals with darker hair and lighter skin tones are optimal candidates, as those with lighter hair tones may not see results.
Laser hair removal can be used to treat many areas of the body, including:
- Full Arms
- Back
- Bikini
- Chin or Jaw
- Full Face
- Half Arms
- Legs
- Upper Lip
- Underarms
